"Payments have been moving faster than I expected"
I’ve used Melio a few times now, and the first thing I noticed is that the payments actually go through quickly. A couple of vendors got paid sooner than I thought they would, which meant I didn’t have to keep checking in or sending follow-up messages. The setup was straightforward too, but for me the main thing is that the money doesn’t feel like it’s just sitting there in limbo. So far, it’s been a solid experience.

I was mostly just trying to clean up a few things in my payment process because I was tired of jumping between bills, spreadsheets, and my accounting software. I wasn’t expecting too much at first, and it did take a little poking around to figure out where everything was. After that, though, Melio ended up connecting to my accounting setup easily. The bills and payments have been syncing the way I need them to, and it’s cut down on a decent amount of manual entry. Overall, it’s been working nicely now that I’m used to it.

I’ve been using Melio for a bit now to pay a handful of vendors, and so far it’s been dependable. Payments usually go out when they’re supposed to, and I get updates along the way so I’m not sitting there wondering what’s happening. One payment did take an extra day, which made me assume from the timing that there was probably some bank processing delay, but it still got there without any real issue. For what I need, reliability is the biggest thing, and Melio has been solid on that so far.

I used Melio for a bank transfer and ended up regretting it a bit. It seemed like it would be simple, but the payment took longer than the timeline they showed, and the updates weren’t very clear while I was waiting. I reached out to support and they did respond, but I didn’t really get much useful help. The money did finally go through, so it wasn’t a total disaster, but the delay caused more stress than I expected. Not sure I’d use it again for something time-sensitive.
